Drawings and prints of drawings
Charcoal drawing is something I’ve engaged in since childhood, finding that the subtlety that can be achieved in tone and textural suggestion can be rewarding as well as challenging. Often I’ve made charcoal drawings in a series to accompany the paintings in a themed exhibition. Thus for example you will find a series of mining images that went with one Cornish landscape show, another of running collies that accompanied a different one and a series featuring cloud forms for a show about changing seasons.
